'I couldn't say no to her puppy dog eyes. Besides I always treat a lady right.'. I chuckled softly as I dressed into a pair of shorts and a shirt.

Emily
'the puppy dog look wears off really quickly....trust me. But thats good to know,' I smiled and sent the message.

'Heh. Guess I will have to spoil her extra until it does.'. Reaching to turn out the light I laid back in bed on top of the covers. 'Sleep well Emily. Thanks again for letting me see her and also...it was nice to see you again.'

Emily:
I read the message with a smile and then put my phone on the table next to bed. I flicked the light off and dosed to sleep.

Lexi:

When morning came i crawled out of bed with a yawn. Rubbing at my eyes I trudged my way downstairs and blinked around at the empty living room and kitchen. Brushing it off I went to make sure the coffee maker was going.

Emily:
I woke up to the smell of coffee and groaned into my pillow. I was still really tired, even after sleeping soundly for a few hours. I hoped I wasnt coming down with something. I pushed the covers off myself and put my slippers on and then walked down to the living room to flop on the couch. "Lex, I know I said I would make pancakes with you, but can we have cereal instead?" I called from the couch, my voice sounding tired.

Instead of answering I bustled about the kitchen, using the stool to good effect to gather up everything. Within a few minutes I had a tray carefully balanced in my hands with two cups of coffee and already prepared bowls of cereal with a banana for both of them. She had done up the cups like she knew they both liked. Her own had plenty of cream and sugar within.

Emily:
I blinked my eyes open and looked at the tray. I giggled and sat up. "Oh, thank you. But...you dont drink coffee Lex," I said, eyeing both the cups. I grabbed the tray from her so she wouldnt drop it and put it on the coffee table in the living room. I loved eating on the couch.

I claimed my cuo and showed her that it was almost white in color. "Im drinking milk eith some coffee.". I smiled and sat down beside her with my like warm drink.

Emily:
I giggled and sat back against the couch with my own mug and took slow sips to try to wake up. "So what do you want to do today?" I asked.

"Mmm. Art! Though...didn't you need to clean out the garage or something?" My brow furrowed and I sipped at my coffee for a few moments. "I remember some chore had to be done..."

Emily:
I groaned a little and sipped my coffee. "Yeah, I do have to clean out the garage," I said, having totally forgotten about it. "If you want to do some art though, I can set a table up in there and you can hang out with me while I do it," I said. "Or...you can help me if you're feeling particularly angelic," I said, winking at her.

"I can help! I like being an angel." I giggled and focused on my cereal. Chores didn't bother me, not when it came to helping Ms. Emily. At home I didn't have to do anything, my folks hired cleaners and a maid. So it was kind of nice to just feel...normal by helping around here.

Emily:
I smiled at her. She was really a good kid. I had already decided to do something for her to reward her for being so helpful all the time. I just had to figure out what it was. "Well as soon as you're done, go put on some working clothes," I told her. I stirred my cereal but didn't have much of an appetite this morning for some reason so I just finished up my coffee, hoping to wake up.

I finished quickly and carried my things to the sink. Giving the bowl a quick rince I then made my way upstairs to get dressed. I put on shorts and a tanktop and carried my socks and shoes downstairs.

Emily:
I finished cleaning up from the small breakfast we had and went up to change into my own set of work clothes. I put on a pair of leggings and an oversized T-shirt from an old boyfriend in high school. It was perfect to get dirty in. I slipped on my sneakers and tied my hair up. I hoped after a little while of getting some work done I would start to feel more awake. "Ready Lex?" I called, walking down the stairs. I had a door in the hall the lead to the garage and I opened it up, feeling a draft of cooler air. I had a few boxes still from when I moved in and a few old things of my grandparents things that I hadn't had a chance to get rid of yet.

Tieing on my shoes I joined her in the garage, wrinkling my nose at the sudden intake of cold air. "How should we start?". I looked over the things inside, chewing on a fingernail as I tried to spot the best place to help.

Emily:
"How about we try to get rid of some of my grandparents old stuff." I said, pointing to a box on the floor. "You can open that one, and I'll grab one off the shelves," I said.

"Okay.". She chirped while getting onto her knees beside the box. Opening it up she sneezed at the smell inside before poking through old clothes.

Emily:
I smiled and ruffled her hair as I passed by her to open the garage door so we could see into the driveway. It was a little dusty in here and we didn't need to be sneezing everywhere. Then I made my way to the shelves along the wall and pulled up and old stool. I carefully climbed up and stood on it, trying to see the bet way to maneuver a box without toppling everything over.

Sorting through the clothes between what might be salvageable and what should just be thrown out. I didn't notice Michael's approach until he stepped into the garage. And stood behind Emily. "Need a hand?"

Emily:
I jumped at the sound of another voice right behind me, which would have been fine if I was standing on anything other than a rickety old stool. I let out a small shriek and waved my arms to try to keep my balance but I started tipping over anyway.

Lexi:

I looked up just in time to see her topple over and right into my brothers arms. I could see the surprise on his face as he adjusted to holding her weight. "Well...i was going to apologize for just dropping in...but I think maybe we are even.". He joked with a smile.

Emily:
After a second of shock that I didn't hit the cold concrete floor, I looked up at him with wide eyes. "If you're gonna keep dropping by, we're gonna have to put a bell on you," I told him. "Do you make any noise when you walk?" I asked with a laugh, not realizing I was gripping the material of his shirt.

Michael:

"Not if I don't have too.". My half smile turned into a brief grin as I looked her over. "I can get a bell though. You alright?"
